Not legal or medical advice
Florida Hellthcare is an advocacy, research, and public-education project. Nothing here creates an attorney-client, doctor-patient, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. Do not delay obtaining qualified legal or medical help because of this site. Legal deadlines can expire even when a person does not know all the facts.
Allegations and fair description
Personal accounts, litigation positions, and research hypotheses are identified as such. An allegation is not an adjudicated fact. Case descriptions are summaries and may omit procedural detail. Consult the full primary source, docket, and subsequent history.
“Florida Free Kill” terminology
“Florida Free Kill” is advocacy shorthand for the asserted practical effect of § 768.21(8) when specified noneconomic damages are unavailable and the remaining claim cannot economically support medical-malpractice presuit and litigation costs. The phrase does not mean Florida law authorizes intentional killing or grants universal immunity for medical negligence.
No confidentiality or emergency service
The Contact, Share Information, and Attorney Practice Survey forms do not create privilege, an attorney-client relationship, or a legally protected confidential relationship. “Encrypted,” “private,” and “email verified” describe technical or administrative handling, not a guarantee of confidentiality or identity.
The contact form is not a confidential legal intake, whistleblower system, secure medical-record portal, or emergency service. Submission does not create privilege. If you are represented by counsel, consult counsel before communicating about your matter.
Accuracy, deadlines, and corrections
The project favors official statutes, court materials, bill pages, votes, transcripts, archival legislative files, and clearly identified secondary sources. Law and source links can change. Verify the current official text before relying on any summary. To report an error, use the Share Information form and provide a source that permits the claim to be checked. The project’s full labeling and correction practices appear on the Research Standards page.
External links and no warranty
External links are provided for research convenience and do not constitute endorsement or control of another site’s content. The project is provided for public education without a warranty of completeness, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular legal, medical, academic, or commercial purpose.
