Citing and Reusing This Work

How to credit Florida Hellthcare research while distinguishing original project work from public legal and government sources.

Purpose: This page makes it easy to credit Florida Hellthcare’s original work without confusing that work with the public authorities on which it relies.

Public sources and original work

Statutes, judicial opinions, legislative records, government documents, and other primary sources should be credited to their official sources. Florida Hellthcare does not claim ownership of those public materials.

Travis Brett Creighton independently conducts the project’s research, records collection, analysis, writing, technical development, and publication. When relying on the project’s original selection, organization, methodology, analysis, synthesis, or written expression, readers are asked to credit Creighton and link to the relevant Florida Hellthcare page when practical.

Why the specific page matters

Many conclusions depend on qualifications, source distinctions, dates, and stated limitations. Linking to the page where the analysis appears allows others to examine the complete conclusion and the authorities supporting it. A shortened description should not be presented as the project’s complete conclusion when a material qualification has been omitted.
